About Guest Rooms

    Do you have room service?

    A.

    Unfortunately, we do not offer room service. All meals are served in the restaurant area only.

    Are there baby cribs available?

    A.

    Unfortunately, we do not provide baby cribs. However, an extra bed or futon can be arranged if needed. Also, as our beds are semi-double sized you may want to consider sharing the bed with your child.

    Are there any rooms suitable for wheelchair users?

    A.

    Although we do not have any specific wheelchair designed room, we suggest the western style room (3 people capacity).
    However, assistance may be needed when entering the bathroom, as there is one step to be climbed. Regarding the public bath, it is accessible by a slope and there are 2 wheelchair restrooms on the 1st and 6th floor. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

    What amenities do you provide in the room?

    In the guest rooms, you will find amenities such as body towel, face towel, body soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, room wear (yukata), slippers and hairdryer. We have different sizes for room wear (yukata), from S to LL. Children can choose between 110cm and 130cm. If you wish to have a different size other than the one prepared in your room, please do not hesitate to come to the front desk.
    When going to the public bath, please bring the towel prepared in your room with you. Thank you for your cooperation.

    The size of a tatami varies depending on the area, however, a standard tatami size usually corresponds to about 1.6m2.

    Food Allergies

    Upon requesting it at least 5 days before, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat.
    However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergen: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.
    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.
    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    Which is the closest station?

    A.

    When coming by Shinkansen the closest station will be JR Morioka Station.
    There is a free pickup service to the hotel, however, it has to be reserved at least 3 days in advance.

    Please note that there is no shuttle bus from/to JR Iwate Numakunai Station.

    How do I get to the hotel from Morioka Station by public bus?

    A.

    Ride the bus departing from bus stop n.3 (East Exit) bound for “Hachimantai Mountain Hotel” or “Matsukawa Onsen.” It will take around 90 minutes. The bus departs approximately every hour (first departure at 6:45, last departure at 19:40).
    The closest stop to the hotel is “Hachimantai Onsenkyo” (about 7 minutes on foot from the hotel). We operate a pick-up service from the bus stop to the hotel, so please do not hesitate to let us know at what time you are arriving.
    Please note that the bus timetable may vary depending on the season, so please check before your trip.

    Can I come to the hotel by car during the winter period?

    Although roads are usually clean, please be sure to have stud-less tires. Feel free to contact us before your stay to inquire about road conditions.

    Our Tattoo Policy

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.

    You can have a package sent to the hotel some days before your arrival or during your stay and we will receive it for you. Please make sure to write the hotel's name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and in case you are part of a group travel, its name.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.
