About Guest Rooms

    Do you have any baby cribs available?

    A.

    Unfortunately, we do not provide baby cribs. However, we can add an extra bed or futon (upon paying an extra fee). Also, most of our rooms have a semi-double sized bed, so you may share the bed with your child.

    Is there room wear (yukata) for young children?

    A.

    We have children sizes as well. We usually prepare yukata in the guest rooms, however, if the yukata you find in your room does not fit you, please come to the front as we have various sizes.

    How big is one tatami?

    A.

    The size of tatami varies depending on the area, however, a standard tatami size usually corresponds to about 1.6m.

    Breakfast is served in a buffet style, which includes Japanese and Western dishes. It is served from 7:00 to 9:30 (last entry 9:00).

    About allergies

    Upon request, at least 5 days in advance, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat. However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergens: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.



    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.



    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    Do you have a shuttle bus?

    We will bring you from the nearest station (JR Higashi Karatsu Station) to the hotel and back. The available time is from 9 to 18, please call us when you arrive at Higashi Karatsu Station.

    Where can I experience Karatsu pottery?

    A.

    There is a pottery corner at the hotel where it is possible to experience painting activities. Choose your favourite object among bowls, cups and plates and decorate it. Prices start from \1,620. As there are limited seats, we ask you to reserve in advance. Please notice that it will take around 1 month for the final product to be ready and that the shipping cost will be paid by the customer.

    There is free Wi-Fi connection in the Lobby Area, the Rooms and the Restaurants.

    Can I receive packages at the hotel?

    You can have a package sent to the hotel some days before your arrival or during your stay and we will receive it for you. Please make sure to write the hotel's name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and in case you are part of a group trip, the group's name.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.

    Can I store my luggage at the hotel before and after my stay?

    We can keep your luggage on the day of your arrival before check-in time and on the day of your departure after check-out time.

    Can I purchase medicines at the hotel?

    As regulated by Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Law, the hotel cannot provide medicines to our customers.

    Our Tattoo Policy

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.
