About Guest Rooms

    Is room-wear prepared in the guest rooms?

    A.

    Room-wear (Yukata) is prepared next to the elevators on every guest room floor.
    Please pick the size that fits you the most.
    XL: 180cm~; L: 168 ~ 180cm; M: 156cm ~ 168 cm; S: 144cm ~ 156cm
    Children size: 110cm ~ 130cm; 90cm ~ 110cm

    What time are check in and check out?

    A.

    Check-in is at 15:00 and check out is at 11:00.
    Please note that it may change according to your staying plan.

    Is there a barrier free room?

    A.

    There is one wheelchair user friendly room (2 people capacity) and 2 barrier free toilets in the building. As we only have one room designed for wheelchairs, please contact us in advance.
    We also rent wheelchairs at the front desk.

    Are there any rental items for children?

    A.

    Yes, there are various supplies. However, since the number is limited, please tell us about your needs in advance.
    We rent diaper bins, strollers, air purifiers, humidifiers, auxiliary toilet seat, step stool for kids, kettle for baby food, baby bottle set, bumbo, baby soap.

    Is there room service?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer room service. Meals are served in restaurant venues only.
    However, upon paying a fee, a private room can be arranged in the banquet halls.

    Can I stay with my pet?

    We are sorry to inform you that we do not accommodate pets. However, assisting dogs are admitted, please inform us in advance.
    We recommend “Dog Friend Melody” pet hotel, it is about 7 minutes by car from the hotel.

    How big is one tatami?

    The size of tatami varies depending on the area, however, a standard tatami size usually corresponds to about 1.6m.

    Breakfast is served in a buffet style, which includes both Japanese and Western style dishes. It is served from 7:00 to 10:00 (last entry 9:30).

    For breakfast and dinner, you can find baby food (bottled) in the buffet venue.

    About food allergies

    A.

    Upon requesting it at least 5 days before, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat. However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergen: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.
    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.
    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    How are road conditions in winter?

    A.

    It is frequent for snow to accumulate on the road from December to March, therefore, we recommend to use stud less tires or prepare chains in case of normal tires.

    Is there a free shuttle bus?

    A.

    We provide a pickup service from Nasu Shihobara Station to the hotel.
    Please note that reservation in advance (till 18:00 of the previous day) is needed.
    Departures from Nasu Shihobara Station: 10:40; 12:35; 14:35; 15:50.
    Please be at the rotary in front of West Exit before departure time.

    How do I get to the hotel by train?

    A.

    The closest station to the hotel is Nasu Shiobara Station, you can reach it by shinkansen (bullet train) in about 70 minutes from Tokyo Station. From there, you can use our shuttle bus service.

    There is an outdoor pool. However, it is open during summer period only (late July ~ end of August).
    It is free for hotel guests. Prices for customers not staying at the hotel: adults \1,000; elementary school students \500.

    Our Tattoo Policy

    Guests with tattoos who wish to use the public bath facilities are required to use a tattoo cover seal for the duration of their public bath usage: the tattoo can be covered with no more than two 8cm x 10cm tattoo cover seals.

    There is free Wi-Fi connection in the Lobby Area, the Rooms and the Restaurants.

    -The service does not guarantee 100% internet availability.
    -Depending on your equipment and location, it may be difficult to connect.
    -Connection speed might slow down due to unforeseen circumstances.
    -We are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by unexpected suspension or malfunction of the service.
    -It is costumers’ responsibility to keep the connection secure. The hotel is not responsible for security issues such as viruses, leak of information etc.
    -For security reasons we cannot answer questions concerning our system.
    -We do not rent out equipment such as Wi-Fi routers etc.

    Can I receive packages at the hotel?

    A.

    You can have a package sent to the hotel some days before your arrival or during your stay and we will receive it for you. Please make sure to write the hotel's name, the name you used to make your reservation, your arrival date (yyyy/mm/dd format) and in case you are part of a group travel, its name.

    If you want to send a package from the hotel, you can do that at the shopping plaza on first floor, where we also sell boxes. Please talk to the counter staff after having prepared the box and filled in the appropriate documentation.

    Can I store my luggage at the hotel before and after my stay?

    We can keep your luggage on the day of your arrival before check-in time and on the day of your departure after check-out time.

    Can I purchase medicines at the hotel?

    A.

    As regulated by Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Law, the hotel cannot provide medicines to our customers.
