    Is there room service?

    A.

    Unfortunately, there is no room service. We serve food at the restaurants only.

    Can children stay for free?

    A.

    A facility fee of 1,000\ (tax included) has to be paid for every child under 6 years old. As the western style rooms are equipped with semi-double sized bed, it is possible to share the bed with your kid without any extra fee.

    Can 5 people stay in the same room?

    A.

    Although both Japanese and Western style rooms’ maximum capacity is 4 people, 5 beds can be arranged in the Japanese room (2 beds and 3 futon). Please understand that there won’t be much space left.
    As booking options are limited to 4 people in one room, please fill in the request column with the desired number of beds (a 5 people fee will be applied).

    Can I bring my pet with me?

    A.

    We have 2 rooms arranged for guests coming with their pets.
    However, we do not accept reservations online, so please contact us by phone to check the availability for your desired dates.
    In order to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests, we ask you to read and understand the following points:

    • Only small sized dogs (5kg and below) will be accepted

    • As excessive barking may annoy other guests, please do not leave your pet alone in the room

    • Please avoid walking your dog in public spaces in the building and use a carry bag instead

    Is there any entertainment in the hotel?

    A.

    As indoor entertainment the hotel offers a game corner and table tennis.
    There is also a bicycle rental service for you to explore the vicinity. On a walking distance you can also find a park with kids’ playground).
    Please note that outdoor facilities may be inaccessible during winter season (from early December to mid-April).

    Is there a drying/dressing room for skiing?

    A.

    There is an assigned space for ski equipment storage in the lobby (1st floor).
    As a dressing room we arrange a Japanese style hall located on the 2nd Floor.

    Can I wear my room wear (Yukata) in the building?

    A.

    Please feel free to wear your Yukata and slippers inside the whole building.

    Is the building wheelchair-friendly?

    A.

    You can use your wheelchair with comfort in the whole building.
    Wheelchair accessible toilets are available on 1st and 3rd floor. The western room is accessible by wheel-chairs, however, the toilet in the room has a step, but we can arrange a step ramp. Please do not hesitate to contact the front desk.
    As for the public bath, it is accessible by a slope. There is a small step that connects the dressing room to the public bath, however that is also accessible through a ramp.
    There is a handrail in the bathtub and 2 shower chairs are prepared in each bath.

    Is it possible to use the hot springs without staying at the hotel?

    A.

    Yes, it is possible.
    Upon paying a 1,200\ fee (which includes face towel rental) you will have free access to the hot springs from 15:00 to 22:00. However, please note that on crowded days, such as holidays and the day before, priority will be given to guests staying at the hotel.

    How is breakfast like?

    For breakfast we prepare a buffet with both Japanese and Western style dishes. It is open from 7:00 to 9:30 (last entry 9:00).

    Currently displayed prices include 8% in taxes. Please note that starting from October 2019 taxes may rise to 10%.

    Depending on days, the buffet may be substituted by a Japanese or Western set menu.

    Food allergies

    A.

    Upon requesting it at least 5 days before, we can provide food free of the 7 major allergen ingredients: eggs, milk, peanuts, shrimp, crab, wheat and buckwheat. However, we do not provide food without the 20 other allergen: abalone, squid, salmon roe, salmon, mackerel, beef, pork, chicken, oranges, apples, banana, kiwi fruit, peaches, soybean, sesame, cashew nuts, walnut, yam, matsutake mushrooms and gelatin.
    Moreover, we ask you to understand that as we do not use different utensils in the kitchen, it is impossible to ensure you that the food provided did not come in contact with the above mentioned 7 major allergens.
    You are free to bring safe food (ready-made, froze, etc.) to eat during your stay and eat it at the same table as your trip companions, we will assist you by storing and heating it up for you. Please mention it at the time of reservation and during check-in.

    Is there a free shuttle bus?

    A.

    There is one free shuttle bus that runs between Inawashiro Station and the hotel twice per day. As the timetable changes according to the season, please check the access page.

    Please also note that a reservation is needed at least 2 days before.

    How far is the closest convenience store?

    A.

    The closest convenience store (Yamazaki Y store, open from 7:00 to 21:00) is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
    A 7/11 (open 24 hours) can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

    What are the road conditions in winter?

    A.

    Snow is expected to fall from mid November to mid April, therefore we advise to travel with stud-less tire or chains. Please note that even when no snowfall is expected the road may freeze in the mornings and evenings.

    There is free Wi-Fi connection in the Lobby Area, the Rooms and the Restaurants.

    -The service does not guarantee 100% internet availability.
    -Depending on your equipment and location, it may be difficult to connect.

    -We are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by unexpected suspension or malfunction of the service.
    -It is costumers’ responsibility to keep the connection secure. The hotel is not responsible for security issues such as viruses, leak of information etc.

    Can I store my luggage at the hotel?

    A.

    We can keep your luggage on the day of your arrival before check-in time and on the day of your departure after check-out time.
    You can also send a package to the hotel some days before your stay, we will keep it until your arrival. Please make sure to write the hotel’s name, the name you used to make your reservation, the date of your arrival (yyyy/mm/dd format) and the name of your group travel, in case you are part of one.

    Can I purchase medicines at the hotel?

    A.

    As regulated by Article 24 of the Pharmaceutical Law, the hotel cannot provide medicines to our customers.
